Based on a true story
As 2022 drew to a close, we decided to promote the recent growth of our video services in an unexpected way: through print. A video cassette shaped packaging filled with moments of nostalgia and throwbacks was born, very much in the spirit of the included year-in-review. Inside the imitated artifact are a notebook and a personalised card. While the notebook invites our clients to record any life-changing ideas and “write their own script”, the card leads people to a secret page of our website greeting them with our end-of-year wishes and the year-in-review video.
Shipping and sustainability
In addition, we created a font that would enable us to batch-produce shipping labels while mimicking the idea of a handwritten VHS label. In order to reduce the amount of single-use materials, the packaging serves as both primary packaging and shipping box. This added an unpredictable component to the experience: every package arrived a little bit different, carrying shipping marks and blemishes, evoking that desired feeling of sentimentality and passing of time.
